Ullal: Men in a Omni van attempt to kidnap 12-year-old boy in Kinya

Mangaluru, Nov 18, 2016 : Miscreants attempt to kidnap a 12 year old boy who was on his way home on November 18, Friday near Natekal in Kinya.

Mohammed Sahad (12) , 7th STD student of Netaji Primary School suffered minor injuries during the attempt of his kidnap.

Sources say that the miscreants who came in a Black Maruthi Omni van tried to kidnap Sahad who was on his way home from school. Their atempt failed as they noticed a biker plying towards them , fled away by injuring the boy. Sahad is being treated at Kanachur hospital in Deralakatte.

The reason for the kidnap is not known. There are a series of attack on innocents in this region from past few days.

Ullal police are investigating the case.
