There were flowers of all colours and shapes, which were arranged in different shapes, and they attracted everyone’s attention. At the entrance of the Flower Auction, people were greeted by two big swans made out of red and white roses with their beaks made of chrysanthemums.

The major highlight were a 12-feet high Shivalinga made of different colours, a Nandi statue made of white chrysanthemus among others, and a seven-headed Naga statue made of white and yellow chrysanthemus and roses. A tiger statue made of roses, an elephant made of flowers of various colours, and a giant butterfly made of flowers and leaves too were attractive. In fact many people were taking selfies by standing in front of them.

The terrace garden this time displayed different vegetables grown by using the organic manure manufactured at the Sold and Liquid Resource Management Centres under the ‘Swachh Udupi’ Mission. The ornamental cacti, the button, milky and oyster mushrooms, various varieties of coconuts, arecanuts, and vegetables including breadfruit and jackfruit, were also displayed at the venue.
