The bus drivers and conductors kept collection boxes in the city buses and at the City Bus Stand, and collected the amount. Sridhar Palan, Haneef and Santosh Kumar, city bus employees, played an important role in organising the humanitarian collection.

“On learning young Geeta,  a student  is suffering from sickle-cell anemia and that her college mates and some organisations are contributing for her treatment, we thought that we too should collect as much money as possible and help,” said Santosh Kumar, a bus conductor. Our politicians have the property in crores , If they make up their minds and think of the public as their family this situation wouldn’t come to anyone to beg for life. How sad ? Whatever they do they need a press meet to show to public about the account of the finance given and also publicity.

These people have come forward to help the poor family for girl struggling for life. If our politicians had this attitude there was no need for collecting funds from public.
