Most of the women who raided the flat were beauticians. According to sources, the 40 year old man from Mudrady had hired a  young woman aged around 26 to assist his beautician wife in household chores.  After a few years the young woman was also helped to take  up a beautician course.

Meanwhile, it is said the beautician’s husband and the woman developed an affair and had begun visiting a flat at Kinnimulki since six months. A neighbouring lady, a lawyer who noticed this suspicious activity informed the beauticians who raided the place when the two were inside.

It has been gathered that the man’s wife who was shocked has been hospitalised. It is learnt the couple having a seven year old child were not in good terms and  the woman had moved the court seeking maintenance.

A complaint was filed  after the women’s group met Udupi SP Annamalai.  The two were later released
