Udupi, June 17,2017: Ashmita Suvarna, a I PUC Student of MGM College and a resident of Ambalpady who was critically injured in a tragic road mishap at Kinnimulki on the NH 66 on Thursday evening has succumbed to her injuries at the KMC Hospital at Manipal on June 17, Saturday morning.
Ashmita was on her way home when she was hit by a speeding Swift D’Zire car bearing New Delhi registration number while she was waiting to cross the road on the divider on the Highway. Ashmita was immediately rushed to KMC Hospital, but doctors could not save her despite their best efforts.
Ashmita who was a SSLC topper with 96% marks was the daughter of Ashok Anchan and Sunita couple. She aspired to be a lawyer despite her choosing the science stream as per her parent’s wish.
She had also expressed her desire to be a lawyer in an essay on "My Ambition" which she had written in her class.
