Udupi, Dec 12, 2016 : Two women who were reportedly making an attempt to convert people to Christianity were trapped by members of Hindu outfits on December 12, Monday at Herga in Perkala.
The women identified as Seneta of Perampally and Sowmya of Mission Compound, Udupi were said to be belonging to Jehovah’s Witnesses. They were found making a door-to-door visits and distributing religious pamphlets. It has been alleged that the duo was also gathering information like mobile numbers and address of the people.
A complaint has been lodged with Manipal Police.
