Mulki, Mar 09, 2018: Two accused for the robbery that took place in July at Shri Mookambika temple in Guttakadu and Kolluru Shri Mookambika temple in Mulki have been arrested. Naveen (24) from Sorekunte in Tumakuru and Venkatesh (37) from Kambalgodu in Bengaluru are the accused who have been arrested. Two pulsar bikes and assets worth Rs. 2.45lacs have been recovered from them.

There are many cases booked against Naveen in different locations of the state. The varied cases booked under different police station limits include Hassan, Tumakuru, Bengaluru city, Dharmasthala, Venoor, Gubbi, Belur, Nonavinakere, Kora, Kapu, Malpe, Kadaba, Ponjalakatte, Nazarbad, Arasikere, Maipal, Chikkanayakana Halli, Kyatasandra, Beltangady, Harehalli and Padubidri.

Altogether, there are 53 cases booked against the accused Naveen. He used Google maps to locate temples and gathered details, visit the site and then attempt robbery in the night. He had a fancy for different bikes and was also a very capable rider.
