Udupi: June 23, 2015: The Udupi police arrested two ganja peddlers for illegally selling Ganja at Ambagilu in Udupi on Monday June 22.

The accused are Nimayi Balram(40) from Gangarampur and Sri Kanth(27) form Khagchirag in Malda, both from West Bengal.


The police learnt that the duo were at Ambagilu fish market, acting on the information the police went there arrested them. The police seized Ganja worth Rs. 3500 and two mobile phones.


The police registered a case against the duo under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985.
