Trio brutally attacked by masked assailants at Kasaba Bengre

Mangaluru, Apr 09, 2018 : Three youth were attacked with lethal weapons by a group of masked assailants at Kasaba Bengre late night on Sunday.

The victims namely Anveez (17), Siraj and Izaad, all of them residents of Kasaba Bengre, have been admitted to the hospital. The condition of Anveez is said to be critical. He is being treated at Unity Hospital, while the other two have been admitted to AJ Hospital.

The attack took place when the trio were returning towards Tannirbavi from Kasaba Bengre on Sunday night. Their two-wheeler was waylaid by the assailants who were six in number and were masked, near the Kasaba Bengre football grounds. If Anveez suffered serious injuries the other two sustained minor injuries and had managed to escape. They immediately informed their friends who rushed to the spot and admitted them to the hospital. Meanwhile, Anveez who was found bleeding profusely near the football ground was noticed by some fishermen who rushed him to the hospital.

Panambur Police are investigating the case.
