Trio arrested for robbing people on Jokatte Road

Mangaluru, June 28,2016: Panambur Police have arrested a gang of three which was involved in robbing pedestrians and motorists  by threatening them. The police have seized  three cell phones, two motor bikes, two swords, a packet of chilli powder, a rope and a punch from them.

arrestedThose arrested are Mervyn (19), Praveen Anil Monteiro (21) and Bijin (19).


The trio, it has been gathered  used to rob labourers, motorists and some other people who had cash with them meant to be distributed as wages to the labourers, particularly on the road leading to Jokatte.


It used to brandish  weapons and throw chilli powder to rob people.
