Trichur Nazeer to hold 24-hour show for communal harmony

Mangalore, May 29, 2012: Eminent Kerala-based mimicry artist Trichur Nazeer will hold a non-stop, 24-hour mimicry and musical show at Town Hall, Mangalore on June 14 – 15 to convey the message of communal harmony among people of different faiths. Admission to this show is free. 

Making the above announcement at a press meet held on May 29, Tuesday, Trichur Nazeer said that the musical show will include 300 songs in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Arabic, and English. 

Nazeer can imitate over 100 movie stars and 250 different types of birds, animals, and other sounds in just one hour. His spectacular feats have been mentioned in the Limca Book of Records and Guinness Book of World Records. 

Mr. Nazeer has so far presented 6000 shows worldwide and has received over 5000 certificates in appreciation of his performances. One of his most spectacular shows was a 10-hour, non-stop show in Dubai Global Village. In 1992, he presented a 40-hour, non-stop mimicry show at New Delhi, and in 2005, he played the mouth organ for 101 hours continuously in Andheri in Mumbai.

He played the mouth organ for some time and imitated certain famous people at the press meet.
