Mangaluru, May 14, 2016: As per information received, in view of the on going construction of subway in Mangaluru Junction - Padil section to be taken up from 3 pm to 9.30 pm on May 15 and 29, train services have been regulated.


train The cancelled trains are: Train No.22635 / 22636 Madgaon - Mangaluru Central - Madgaon Inter City Express are cancelled on May 15 and 29.

Partial Cancellation: Train No.56666 / 56665 Byndoor - Kasaragod - Byndoor passenger will be partially cancelled between Byndoor and Mangaluru Junction stations on May 15 and 29.


Short Termination: Train No.56641 Madgaon -Mangaluru Central Passenger will be terminated at Surathkal station on those 2 days.

Diversion: Train No 16524 Karwar - Mangaluru Central Express will be diverted via Padil - Bantawala - Padil - Mangaluru Central, duly arriving 45 minutes delayed at Mangaluru Central.
Reasoning :
These regulations of train services is required for sufficiently  maintaining railway services. It will effect some commuters on certain routes for some days and hours.

Regulation: Train No 12202 Kochuveli - Lokmanya Tilak Garibrath bi-weekly express will be regulated at Mangaluru Junction for 50 minutes.

Rescheduling: Train No 16518 Kannur-Yeswantpur Express (via Mysuru), which is scheduled to leave Mangaluru Central at 9pm on May 15 and 29 will leave only at 9.30 pm.
