Mangalore, 25, 2014: Derailment of a freight train at Karanjadi on Konkan Railway route on August 24 has caused the following trains running in Palakkad division to be regulated, according to a release from the Railway authorities.
Ernakulam Junction – Madgaon weekly express (No 10216), scheduled to leave Ernakulam at 1.55 pm on August 25 has been cancelled due to the cancellation of its pairing train by Konkan Railway. Pune –Ernakulam Express (22150), scheduled to leave Pune at 6.45 pm on August 24 has been rescheduled to leave at 9.35 pm on the same day.
Lokmanya Tilak – Mangalore Central Matsyagandha Express (12619), scheduled to leave Lokmanya Tilak at 3.20 pm on August 24 will leave at 12.40 am on August 25.
Lokmanya Tilak – Thiruvananthapuram Central Netravathi Express (16345), which left Lokmanya Tilak on August 24 has been diverted via Panvel, Karjat, Pune, Meeraj, Londa and Madgaon.
Hapa – Tirunelveli Express (19578), which left Hapa on August 23 has been diverted via Panvel, Karjat, Pune, Meeraj, Londa and Madgaon.
