Mangaluru: July 12, 2015: Due to major repairs at Mangaluru yard, Southern Railway has temporarily decided to cancel the service of train 22635/22636 Mangaluru- Madgaon Mangaluru intercity express with effect from November 16 for 30 days, according to Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd.
Destruction of signaling system following a fire at Itarsi in West Central Railway continues to have its bearing on railway services in the area. Accordingly, the following train services have been cancelled.
Train 12643 Thiruvananthapuram - Nizamuddin weekly express, scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central on July 14, has been cancelled. Train 12617 Ernakulam - Nizamuddin Mangala Express scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction on July 16 has also been cancelled.
Meanwhile, Railways has made permanent augmentation of coaches for convenience of passengers. An additional 2-tier AC coach will be attached to train 12432 Nizamuddin- Thiruvananthapuram express with effect from July 12 and one additional 2-tier AC coach to train 12431 Thiruvananthapuram - Nizamuddin Express with effect from July 14.
