Three arrested for attempt to murder on bakery owner, three other absconding

Ullal: August 11, 2015: The police on Monday arrested three accused who were involved in murder attempt of Bakery owner in Mastikatte in Ullal. The police are now searching for the prime accused and two others.

The three arrested youths have been identified as Arfan (23) from Kumpala, Saifullasan (21) Haneef (24).

According to the sources the gang of six members barged into a sweet shop and general store in Mastikatte and allegedly attacked shop owner Abdul Salam with lethal weapons. The gang fled from the spot taking away with the cash which was kept in cash counter.


The locals gathered at the spot and admitted Abdul Salam to a private hospital. The police arrived at the spot and started their investigation and traced three accused. While the search for the prime accused is on.

It is learnt that the accused were also involved in other kidnapping and murder cases.
