Mangaluru, Dec 5, 2016: Inspired by children who visit his cyber cafe for project works on nature and food wastage, a resident of Mangaluru who runs cyber cafes in the city has kept a fridge in front of the cafe which is used to stock leftover food to feed the poor and needy.

It was a long pending dream of Arafath Ameen, who owns a cyber cafe located near Balmatta New Road, adjacent to KMC Hospital in Dr B R Ambedkar Circle to roll out this initiative, which he did so two days ago. "From past three years, I was thinking how one can find a solution to people wasting food which can be utilised for the needy. It materialised on December 2 and has received good response," explains Arafath.
