Thieves snatch chain of woman at Shivabagh

Mangaluru, Nov 23, 2018: Two thieves who were riding a scooter snatched the chain of a woman at Shivabagh on November 22, Thursday evening.
The incident occurred when Maria Pinto, wife of Rolphy Pinto of Kadri, Shivabagh was returning home after attending the last rites of a neighbour at the cemetery near ESI Hospital.
The stolen chain weighing 20 grams is valued at around Rs 60,000. It is learnt the chain snatchers came by a silver coloured Honda Activa.
A complaint has been lodged in the local police station.
