Teenager meets tragic end in quarry pit

Kasargod, Mar 12, 2016:  A teenager who was riding a bicycle has met a watery grave in a quarry pit at Periya near Bekal after his bicycle was reportedly hit by an unidentified vehicle.

The deceased boy is Abid (14), son of Mohammad Padappu of Kuniya Adka. He was an eighth standard student of  Kuniya Government High School.

 It is learnt, the mishap did not come to the notice of anyone as  the quarry workers too had left home after work.  Locals who later noticed Abid in the pit though rushed him to a  hospital in Mangaluru, his life could not be saved.

The people have to save the accident victims, hit by the vehicle because life is very precious it once lost cannot be brought back. Offer a helping hand so that they can be saved by a moment.

A tragic incident? Accidents are increasing day to day but people never learn from it. Just think if your’e family is that position how you would feel? Will you leave them suffering on the road?

How sad? The people are merciless thy do not have any concern towards the innocent lives. We agree its ans accident but atleast make an attempt to give a first aid to the injured
