Techie Prabha’s mortal remains brought to city; taken to hometown Amtoor

Mangaluru, Mar 15, 2015:  A special flight from Bengaluru to Mangaluru International Airport carrying the mortal remains of  IT consultant Prabha Arun Kumar  hailing from Amtoor in Bantwal who was stabbed by unidentified assailants in Sydney, arrived on March 15, Sunday morning.

Family members of Prabha   including her husband Arun Kumar accompanied the body. The body was handed over to the family after completing formalities. It was then taken  by ambulance to Amtoor near Kalladka in Bantwal where the  final rites will be performed this evening.

The body was earlier brought to  Bengaluru by Singapore Airlines on March 14, Saturday night. Prabha was murdered by unidentified assailants   at Paramatta Park on March 7 at around 9.30 pm when she was returning home after work.

Prabha worked for MindTree, an IT company and was serving the Company in Australia since three years.
