Teacher files rape complaint against Headmaster

Belthangady, nov 11, 2019 : A guest teacher of the Government Primary School at Padmunja in Belthangady taluk has lodged a complaint against the Headmaster of the school accusing the latter of raping her. The complaint has been lodged in Uppinangady Police Station.

rape-investiga... According to the 28 year old victim, the headmaster who had promised to regularise her job in the school had reportedly raped her in the school premises on April 14. She also stated that she failed to lodge a complaint then out of fear.

The teacher has been subjected to medical examination at the Government Hospital in Mangaluru. The police plan to initiate action based on the outcome of the medical report.

It is said the victim’s service was terminated citing unsatisfactory performance and another teacher was appointed in her place some time back.
