Sullia, June 26, 2018: An incident  where in a young woman was lured and gang raped  has been reported from Chokkady in Bellare police station limits of Sullia taluk on June 25, Monday evening.

 

arrest_Police have arrested one person in this connection, while search is for  the two other accused. The incident is learnt  to have occurred when the young woman was taking milk to the milk dairy.


It is said three men including two  autorickshaw drivers had waylaid the woman and had somehow lured  her and had taken her to a rubber estate where they reportedly raped her.

Further investigations are underway.
