Sullia Toastmasters Maiden Installation Ceremony Held

Sullia, July 31, 2019; The installation ceremony of Sullia Toastmasters Club was held on Sunday the 28th of July 2019 at Rotary Community Hall Sullia. Dr. C.K. Ballal the eminent neurosurgeon of Mangalore and Prof. M. Balachandra Gowda, the Academic Advisor of AOLE® Kurunjibhag, Sullia were the chief guests.  This is the maiden installation ceremony of this club which was formed only recently. 

 

Addressing the gathering on the occasion Dr. C.K Ballal emphasized the importance of Toastmasters Club in building effective communication Skills and leadership abilities.  Prof. M Balachandra Gowda said that humility is one of the keys to reaching heights and true leader will be either in the forefront or in the back, as per need of the situation.

Shivani Baliga, Division F Director congratulated the team of office bearers and conveyed her best wishes. Dr Sukanya Rao administered the oath to the office bearers namely, President Sulochana, Vice President (Education)   Padmashree Alva, Vice President Jyothsna, Vice President (Membership) Anil B.V, Treasurer Ashwin Shetty and Sergeant-at-Arms Susmitha Jake.

Sulochana presided over the function and explained how one can expand one’s personality by joining a Toastmasters club.  Malini Hebbar, Bharathi Shevgoor, Brian Fernandes, Divyashree Gatty, Beena Shetty, Reshma Karkera and other Toastmasters members were present on the occasion and felicitated the new club members.

Vishnu Shevgoor, Dhanajaya A., Dr. N.A. Jnanesh, Dr. Sai Geetha Jnanesh, M.B. Sadashiv, Sudhakar Rai, Dayanand Alva, Karumbaiah, Rita Karumbaiah, Dr. Roshan, Dr. Revathi Nandan, Prof Kamala Balachandra, Dr Rangiah, DFO Ranganath and others were present on the occasion.
