Sullia: Man arrested for lambasting DK Shivakumar

Sullia Mar 1, 2016: A man arrested for allegedly abusing State energy Minister D K Shivakumar against consistent power cut in Bellare Taluk.

dk shivakumar 1 The accused was identified as Giridhar Rai resident of Bellare.

As per the reports Giridhar had blasted and abused minister Shivakumar over the phone for unscheduled power cuts in Bellare.

Minister Shivakumar informed Sullia Town police and police swung in to action and arrested Giridhar from his residence.

Giridhar was produced in the court on Feb 29, Monday and remanded in judicial custody.

Giridhar has done right thing because DKS is the energy minister and he has to make attempt to respond to the public. If he doesn’t do so he is not worth being a minister.
