Sullia, Aug 6,2016: Sullia Police have arranged a gang of eight youth which was reportedly involved in highway thefts. The arrests were made on August 4, Thursday.
Those arrested are Kishore, Sridhar, Praveen, Rohit, Guruprasad and Harish from Koltige and Harishchandra and Ramesh from Charvaka village.
It is said that the gang members who possessed cudgels and sickles used to intercept vehicles passing on the state highway between Sullia and Puttur at Anegundi, threaten the occupants and loot them.
