Sullia : Bajrang Dal activist thrashed for harassing women; video goes viral

Sullia, Jan 19, 2017 :A video of a Bajrang Dal leader being thrashed by residents of Bellare for harassing women has gone viral on social media.

The incident reportedly took place today, January 19, Thursday.

It is believed that the locals who were frustrated with the Bajrang Dal activist named Santosh Shetty Madavu who was often found stalking and harassing lady students of a college, had decided to teach him a lesson. It is learnt the man used to be always in a drunken stupor.

Bellare police have taken the accused to custody and are interrogating him.
