Ujire, Aug 24, 21014: A public meeting will be held on August 26 at Nala Higher Primary School to discuss the issue of three students forcing a hearing and speech impaired student to drink urine, said school development committee.
Flaying the incident, Bharathiya Vidyarthi Federation taluk committee said that a proper probe should be conducted. Attempts to spread communal hatred should be stopped.
In the meantime, the residents of Nala and Gerukatte jabe threatened to lock the school if any action was initiated against teachers who facilitated the arrest of three students. Meanwhile, the parents of the child have received threatening letters of dire consequences if the complaint was not withdrawn.
