Stolen ATM card used to draw cash culprits arrested

Mangaluru, July 5,2017: Reports say Mangaluru City Police have nabbed two persons with regard to theft of ATM card and withdrawal of cash around Rs 3,59,000, using the stolen card, on July 4,Tuesday. Police have recovered Rs 2,20,000 and a 20 gram gold chain purchased by withdrawing the amount.
Arrested persons have been identified as Fathima, 28 and her husband Selvam, 31, native of Vellore in Tamil Nadu. Police said the said couple were working in the house of Joyce, 70, resident of Britto Lane, Falnir. They used to operate ATM card for the old lady and gained knowledge of the PIN etc... They had quit job few weeks ago and were withdrawing as well shopping using stolen ATM.
A case has been registered at Mangaluru City South Police Station.
