Mangaluru, May 30, 2020: MLA and former minister U T Khader has accused the Karnataka government of neglecting the Corona warriors by not paying them their salaries.
Speaking to reporters here, Khader said the state government had no seriousness in tackling Coronavirus. The doctors and nurses have not been disbursed their pay since two months, he said and urged the government to release their salaries immediately.
The 26,000 Corona Warriors in the state including lab technicians are waiting for their salaries. Let the government pay their salaries at least using Corona care fund, he said.
On the state government decision to ban entry of people from five Corona hotspot states, Khader questioned if Kannadigas in Maharashtra are not our people. He deamded train facilities to bring stranded Kannadigas back.
