Mangaluru, Nov 8, 2016 :  Shrimad Bhuvanendra Ayurvedic Vriksha Vatika, a herbal garden  set up at Bhagamandala in Kodagu district in memory of  the former Kashi Mutt seer  who had an unabiding faith in the efficacy of Ayurveda,  was inaugurated  by Srimad Samyameendra Theertha Swamiji, the Pontiff of Shree Kashi Mutt Samsthan  on November 6, Sunday.

The illustrious former pontiff Srimad Bhuvanendra Theertha Swamiji belonged  to a family of Ayurvedic physicians in his Purvashram. The present pontiff who  shared the intense interest of Shrimad Bhuvanendra Theertha Swamiji in Ayurveda, has now succeeded in his mission.

Srimad Samyamindra Theertha   also offered Poornahuti to the Dhanvantari Havana  held  at Bhagamandala for three days  as part of the inaugural.

 He offered  Gograasa to the cattle at the new Goshala in the premises of the  Vatika and also inaugurated the new Administrative Office.

A clay idol of Shrimad Bhuvanendra Theertha  which was installed at a new Mantap at the Vatika premises too was   unveiled by the  Kashi Mutt pontiff on the occasion. He placed the Padukas of the seer and offered Mangalarathi.

Dr. P Dayananda Pai, Chairman of Shree Bhuvanendra Swami Charitable Trust said there were plans to establish a Yoga Adhyayana Kendra, residential quarters for visiting experts and take up various other projects at a cost of Rs 8 crore.

Project engineer H Gajanana Kamath gave details about the herbal plants in the Vatika.

Dr Jagannath Shenoy, Honorary President of the Sri Kashi Mutt Managing Committee, Koteshwar Dinesh Kamath and many others were present.

An Ayurveda garden something great. The people have understood the hidden truth of Alopathy and moving toward Ayurveda. Though the result is slow but free from drawbacks .
