Mangaluru, Mar 5, 2015 : Sri Dhanwanthari Mahayaga and rituals will be held at Sri Guruvaidyanatha Sri Devi Chamundeshwari Daivasthana, Bejai, Kapikad, on March 8. However, the preparations for the yaga will be launched from March 6.
Daivasthana Secretary Jagadish Shetty Bejai said that 1,008 herbs would be used in the yaga. He said Maharshi Ananda Guruji will grace the occasion.
The annual nemothsava of Kshetra will be held from March 13 to 14, under the guidance of Derebail Vittaladasa Thantri.
The hasirukanike offering and 1,008 herbs will be brought in a procession from Urwa Sri Mariyamma Temple on March 6 at 4.30 pm. A religious function will be held at Sri Guruvaidyanatha Sri Devi Chamundeshwari Daivasthana at 6.30 pm. Nagathambila, Ashlesha Bali and Nagadarshana will be held on March 7 from 7 am onwards. Mass feeding will be held at 12.30 pm. Maharshi Santhwana and Arivina Darpana programme will be held by Dr Ananda Guruji from 3 pm onwards. A religious programme will be held at 6.30 pm.
On March 8, Dhanwanthari yaga will start from 8 am. Religious function will be held at 3 pm, followed by Arivina Darpana programme by Sri Anada Guruji, Traditional healers will be facilitated.
