Solemn festive mass held to celebrate Mudipu annual festival

Mangalore, Dec 2: A solemn festive mass was held today at St. Joseph Vaz Shrine Mudipu to celebrate the annual feast of St Joseph Vaz Shrine of Mudipu. The main celebrant was Fr Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, the bishop of Mangalore diocese.

The annual festival of St. Joseph Vaz Shrine Mudipu commenced on Dec 1, Tuesday. On Wednesday, the solemn mass was held at 10:30 a.m. with the bishop as the main celebrant.

Fr. Andrew D’Souza, the parish priest of St. Joseph Vaz Shrine Mudipu; Fr. Francis Crasta, the parish priest of Nityadar Nagar Church; Fr. Victor D’Souza, the director of Rushivana and the parish priest of Paneer Church; and Fr. Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, the director of Fr Muller’s Homeopathic Hospital were the other celebrants of the mass.
