Software engineer’s dead body found in Kumble beach

Kasargod, June 10, 2012: The dead body of Sachin Kotekar (32) of Padil in Mangalore, who was a software engineer for a company in the US, was found at Kumble beach in Kasargod on June 10, Sunday.

Sachin, who had come home 45 days back, was to return to the US on June 10.

On the night of Saturday, Sachin took his wife Sushma to her parents’ house at Posatadka in Kumble. He told his in-laws that he was going out to take a printout of his air ticket, but never returned home. When his in-laws tried to call him, they found that his mobile phone was switched off.

 

 

On the morning of June 10, his dead body was found at Koipady Beach in Kumble and his car was found parked nearby.

Sachin Kotekar, son of Sulochana and Devadas of Padil, got a job as a software engineer in the US a year back.

Sachin is believed to have committed suicide, but the reasons for his suicide are not known. His body has been taken to Pariyaram Medical College for post mortem.
