Shilpa B. Tops in Mangalore in CA Finals Exam 2011

Shilpa Mangalore, July 19: Shipa B., daughter of the eminent chartered accountant of the city, B. Ramesh and Smt. Sharatha R. Balnadu has emerged as the topper among candidates appearing from Mangalore in the CA Finals 2011 exams with distinction marks of 514/800.

CA exams are considered to be very tough with very low percentage of passes and usually only about 10% of the candidates pass through the professional exam. This year only 9 students have passed from Mangalore and Shipa B. has stood first among them. She was trained at her father’s audit firm.

Shilpa B. has been a bright student thoughout college. She completed her BBM from SDM College and secured the 9th rank in the University exams. She started pursuing CA course in 2007 and secured All-India 10th rank in CA-CPT exams. She finished her CA-Intermediate in 2009. She has completed all exams in the first attempt.
