Security tightened at Tipu Jayanthi venue; BJP Minorities Morcha leader detained

Mangaluru, Nov 10, 2017: Security has been tightened around the Netravathi Auditorium of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat where the Tipu Jayanthi celebrations are to be held today. All visitors to the auditorium including media men are subject to thorough screening before allowing inside.
In the meantime, police detained BJP Minorities Morcha leader Franklin Monteiro who arrived at the programme venue.
