Security agency employees demand justice for their service

Mangalore, Nov 15, 2013: Around 20 employees of ‘Garuda Security and Personnel Services’, Pumpwell gathered in front of office demanding justice on November 15, Friday.

The employees said that their proprietor of the company has cheated them by not paying the salary and now he is absconding. 

 

 

The company proprietor Sabheesh Kumar and manager Beju hailing from Kerala have locked the office from a week and their mobile phones are switched off.

The employees said that though they provide security to others, they are cheated with financial security. They also said that the men who work as security guards are from poor and middle class families and have to beg to earn their living, until they are appointed elsewhere. A few employees’ cheques issued by them are also bounced.

They also said that the company did not pay the remuneration since two months. In this regard we had approached the labour court and lodged the complaint in the police station too, but so far no action has been taken.
