Sanketh, Tushanth selected for RLSS Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships

Mangalore, Sept 21, 2011: Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project CEO Yathish Baikampady has issued a press release stating that Sanketh Bengre and Tushanth D. Bengre will represent the country at the RLSS Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships, scheduled to be held at Durban in South Africa from September 27 to Oct 1, 2011.
Sanketh and Tushanth have won gold medals at the National Championship – Rescue India 2011 held at Tiruvanthapuram.
The members of the team are Tarun Murgesh of Chennai, Yashraj Tarkar of Maharashtra, and Rahul Yadav of Kolkatta. The team manager and coach will be Yusuf Chudesra of Maharashtra.
The winners of the gold medal at the Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships will qualify for the World Championships, scheduled to be held at Adlieu in Australia next year.
