SVT Sharadotsav concludes with grand Shobha Yatra

Mangaluru, Oct 2,2017 : The grand Shobha Yatra of the idol of Goddess Sharada which was installed and worshipped at the Vasantha Mantap of Acharya Mutt of the Shree Venkataramana Temple at Carstreet was held on October 1, Sunday night.

Thousands of devotees had converged at Temple Square and other streets of the town to catch a glimpse of the beautiful idol of Goddess Sharada. The Shobha Yatra accompanied by a number of tableaux as well as Huli Vesha Teams passed through Mahamaya Temple, Navabharath Circle Dongerakeri, New Chitra Talkies, Chamaragalli and Rathabeedi before culminating at Shree Mahamaya Shrine. The idol was immersed in the lake of the shrine.
