SSLC Kannada medium topper Prajwal felicitated in city

Mangalore, May 25, 2012: The Nagarika Hitharakshana Vedike felicitated Prajwal S., who scored 613 over 625 (98.08%) in his SSLC exam, at Press Club on May 25, Friday. He is the Kannada medium SSLC topper in the state.
Dr. Mohan Alva, chairman of Alva’s Educational Foundation, had sponsored Prajwal who hails from Adinje near Venoor in Belthangady. He is a student of Alva’s Kannada Medium School.
Hanumath Kamath, president of Nagarika Hitharakshana Vedike, presented a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 to Prajwal, who was felicitated by Harish Rai, president of the Working Journalists’ Association, and Vedvyas Kamath of Sevanjali Trust.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rai congratulated Prajwal and expressed his appreciation of Dr. Mohan Alva. He also advised Prajwal to become an IAS officer, stating that he is fully capable of it.
