South wharf mangaloreMangaluru, June 3, 2015: Two engines and 150 empty fish crates worth Rs.8.90 lakh were stolen from two deep sea fishing vessels parked in front of South India Fisheries here in South wharf.
 
According to the complaints miscreants stole the valuables between June 2 mid night and early morning of June 3. Each boat engine woth Rs. 4 lakh and Rs. 90,000 worth plastic crates used for stock fresh fish, Abdul Rahiman, boat owner, explained in the complaint.

The boat engine belongs to Abdul Rahiman and his friend Azeez of Ullal. And, crates belongs their friend Ibrahim.

Mangalore South police registered a case and investigating.
