Mangaluru, Apr 11, 2017 : City Police team have  donated Rs 50,000 to Aithappa, ASI of  Urwa Police Station who has been allegedly assaulted by unidentified assailants  on the morning  of April 5, Wednesday  at Ladyhill, here.


It is said the bike borne masked   assailants were following the SI who was on his bike and were not wearing helmets.

Aitappa is now shifted to ward from ICU and is recovering. As  noble gesture everyone from Police Department have contributed  towards the donation to ASI Aitappa. They have also  provided a 4-wheeler to his family for the convience of travel  between hospital and home. Wish a speedy recovery.



Investigations are underway.
