Mangaluru, April 12, 2020: The Rotary Club of Mangalore donated three COVID-19 swab collection kiosks to the District Government Wenlock Hospital on Saturday.

The kiosks were donated in the presence of District Medical Officer (DMO) Dr Sadashiva and other senior specialists of Wenlock District Hospital. President of Rotary Club of Mangalore Rtn Jathin Attavar, Secretary Rtn Dr Pramod and Community Service Director Rtn Aditya Pai, and other members of the club were present on the occasion.

Rotary Club of Mangalore donates 3 Swab collection kiosks


The kiosks was manufactured on a war footing by Maroor’s Aluminium and Interiors, Mangaluru at a cost of Rs.1.5 lakh. This facility will greatly reduce the requirement of PPE’s for individual Health Care Workers. These Kiosks are completely sealed and it reduces the contact between patient and Paramedics or Doctors, said a release from the club
