Roshni Nilaya hosts talent hunting event

Mangalore, Sep 3, 2011: School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya hosted a programme titled Expressions – 11 in its auditorium today. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Jacinta D’Souza said that the purpose of this event is to showcase the talents of students from colleges affiliated to the Mangalore University. Around 14 colleges are participating in this event, she added.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fr. Walter D’Mello, the parish priest of Our Lady of Miracles Church of Milagres, inaugurated the event.

Competitions such as web designing, antyakshari, creative writing, and treasure hunts will form part of the event.

Student Welfare Officer Flossy Rayappan and President Chaithra J. Kalyanpur were also present.

The valedictory ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. today in the presence of Prof. H. R. Nataraj Urs, the joint director of Collegiate Education Mangalore.
