Mangaluru, Feb 01,2017: As per a directive from the NHAI, National Highways Authority of India, those travelling between Kasargod and Kundapur will have to pay toll at four toll points: Talapady, Gundmi, Hejamady and NITK Surathkal; this will be effective from Tuesday midnight. The NHAI has specified rates for all vehicles for one way as well as round about trips.
The toll gates will be managed by Navayuga, the company which was involved in the highway work. Meanwhile, commuters have been complaining that though the four-lane work was not complete at a few stretches, they were compelled to pay the toll.
