Kundapur, Feb 8, 2015 : The Kodi-Kundapur bridge constructed at a cost of Rs 5.70 crore was inaugurated by Revenue Minister Srinivas Prasad on February 7, Saturday. The Mini Vidhana Saudha at Kundapur, a project worth Rs 4.9 crore was also inaugurated on Saturday.
The bridge was jointly constructed by the PWD, Departments of Revenue, Ports and Inland Transport.
Speaking at a function held in this connection, the Minister said the administrative complexes like Mini Vidhana Saudha is a great boon to the people as it would have offices of various departments at one place. He also stated that the government plans Mini Vidhana Saudhas in 178 taluks. He said title deeds under Section 94C of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act will be distributed to the beneficiaries by March 2015.
Vinay Kumar Sorake, District in-charge Minister also spoke on the occasion. Halady Srinivas Shetty, MLA presided over the function. R Vishal, Deputy Commissioner, Kanagavalli, ZP CEO, Charulatha Somal, AC of Kundapur, Kota Srinivas Poojary, MLC,Kalavathi, TMC President and others were present.
