Shri Ishwarayya said that he has received more than what he had expected and that he has to now give people something in return. Referring to himself as a great lover of art, he said that he had requested Udayavani to devote a page to art, but fortunately, the paper devoted two pages to art. Saying that he is a creative person as well as a critic, he said that critics only improve art, but cannot create new art. He declared that he is happy although he has not succeeded in making any money and said: “A rich man is a poor man with money.”

Secretary of Ragadana Udupi V. Aravind Achar delivered the felicitation address.
