Rachana honours KCCI Chief Jeevan Saldanha

Mangaluru, Oct 31, 2016:  The Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rachana felicitated Jeevan Saldanha, the new President of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry  at a function held on October 30, Sunday.

 

Speaking on the occasion, he elaborated on the risks and challenges in the business field. Referring to the several start-ups which have come up in the recent times, he said the success rates in start-ups is  as low as 10 per cent.

 A seminar on GST was also organized on the occasion. Speaking on the topic, Jennifer Arun Mendes, Member of FCA, said the Goods and Services Tax  has been implemented in over 160 countries across the world. He added that the GST will affect consumers due to the rise in prices of major commodities.

Gilbert D’Souza, President of Rachana, Elias Sanctis, Vice President and others were present.
