Mangalore Today News Network

Mangaluru, May 30, 2016: Photographer Manju Neereshwallya, who had been arrested yesterday by CCB police has been granted bail by a city court, it is learnt.

Manju Neereshwallya is an intimate friend and associate of Naresh Shenoy, the main suspect in the sensational Vinayak Baliga Murder Case. Naresh has been absconding for the last two months and police have issued look out notices for him and two others. Four other suspects have already been arrested in connection with the case.

Manju had not been seen in public since Friday evening and speculation had been rife about his whereabouts. Then a media communiqué released by the city police on Sunday announced that Manju Neereshwallya had been arrested by the CCB police the same afternoon on charges of abetting the escape of Naresh Shenoy and of helping him to evade arrest by gathering local information and relaying to him. The police accused Manju of being in contact with the fugitive Naresh Shenoy and provided money to him.
