RSS stages protest against terror charges

Mangalore, Nov 10: Flaying the union government for abusing the RSS to cover up its failure to check terrorism in the country, Vidya Kendra Convener Dr. Prabhakar Bhat Kalladka said that, if the RSS doesn’t protest, the country will be divided and the future generations will question the RSS. He was delivering a protest speech at a demonstration organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Nehru Maidan on Nov 10 to protest against the union government’s anti-Hinduism policies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lamenting that Hindus have been denied the right to use slogans such as “Bharath Matha Ki Jai” and “Vande Matharam” just to satisfy the whims of certain Congress-supported ministers who feel that the nation is not a mother and therefore cannot be worshipped, he said that Hinduism will not die as long as there are pro-Hindu organizations. Reminding the Congress party of Hindu freedom fighters who struggled for the nation’s freedom, he said that RSS activists will continue their work even today.

Accusing the Congress of supporting Muslim persecution of Hindus, he said that, if the population of Muslims keeps rising in India, the country will become Pakistan soon. He pointed out that there were only 2 percent Muslims in DK, but now the number has risen to 20 percent.

Protesting against the anti-national policies of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi, he said that Rahul Gandhi has called the RSS “as fanatical as the banned Students’ Islamic Movement of India (SIMI)” while his mother has accused the RSS of being involved in terrorist activities. Citing the example of Ullal elections, Bhat said that no Hindu has been given an opportunity to become the MLA of Ullal and accused the Congress of supporting this policy.

Accusing the Hindu Congress ministers as impotent men who are afraid of expressing their love for the nation out of fear of losing Muslim votes, Dr. Bhat said that people are not even allowed to observe Kargil Day after the Congress government came to power in the centre. He even accused the Congress of using political tricks to make the people believe that Indira Gandhi, the supreme prime minister of India, was the daughter of Mahatma Gandhi while actually she belongs to a different Gandhi family.

Declaring that Minister C. M. Ibrahim spoke the truth only once in his life when he said that RSS does a lot of work for social welfare, he said that the politicians of today are torturing India more than the British ever did. He also declared that the day the Babri Masjid was demolished will be held as a sacred day for Hindus.

Challenging the Congress government to ban the RSS if they have the power, he warned that the RSS will unite all the Hindus for its protection and pointed out the Congress failure to ban RSS back in 1992. He declared that RSS has no political interests, but only works for the protection of the Hindu nation.

Kolya Ramananda Swamiji said in his protest speech that Kashmir is the head of India and will always remain a part of India. Claiming that Hinduism has taught the spirit of living to the West, the Swamiji said that Hindus can feel proud of their Hindu identity thanks to the efforts of pro-Hindu organizations. These groups, which are working as the backbone of the nation, are teaching Hindus to live like lions, he added.

Shri Rajashekarananada Swamiji of Vajradehi Mutt said in his protest speech that Obama need not tell us about our economic progress because the entire world knows it. Accusing the Congress of attempting to defame the RSS, which has maintained a clear reputation so far, he said that this protest has been organized to exhibit the power of the RSS, which is working hard for national welfare.

Mohandas Paramahamsa Swamiji of Manila Sridhama addressed the gathering and said that RSS has nothing to do with the Ajmer blast and that the RSS has always involved itself in social work and in uniting Hindus. As long as RSS remains active in India, nobody can change the traditional culture of India, he declared. Lamenting the apathy of the politicians toward activities such as Love Jehad, he said that politicians who support such illegal activities are unfit to remain politicians.

Nityananda Swamiji of Veda Vijnan Mandir of Chikmagalur said that RSS will reveal the true history of the country, adding that the RSS will remain active as long as India exists.

Speaking about how the RSS respects other communities, Erya Laxminarayana Alva said that the RSS has helped the victims of the Tsunami in Pakistan and the victims of Bangla wars, among other social welfare activities. The Congress is following its “divide and rule” policy because it is terrified of becoming extinct, he said. He also said that RSS activists will urge for the construction of a new nation.

Assistant Convener of RS Dr. Vaman Shenoy said that the evil spirits who ruled the nation in the form of the British continue to work in the form of today’s Congress party.
