Two resolutions were passed during the meeting—to take specific steps against corruption and to address the threats posed by China to India’s security. After explaining the resolutions to reporters, Ram Madhav answered reporters’ queries.

Stating that China’s attempts to divert water from the Manasa Sarovara in Kailas and other hilly regions of the Himalayas will create acute water shortage in countries such as India, Bangladesh, Mayanmar, Nepal, and others, fighting for water will become essential in future.

When questioned about the corruption charges against CM B. S. Yeddyurappa, Mr. Madhava said that the RSS does not tolerate corruption in any form and that a number of enquiries have been conducted into the corruption charges faced by the CM, adding that even the Lokayukta has conducted investigations into the same. He said that the RSS will never support any corrupt individual or party and added that Baba Ramdev and others are already fighting against corruption in a big way.

Stating that the RSS creates volunteers, not prime ministers, he said that the RSS is involved in a number of activities such as running 50,000 shakas and addressing various problems facing the countries. The RSS also runs 44 different kshetras and has no time to get involved in political issues when it has enough activities of its own, he stated.

He also said that the RSS takes resolutions, discusses crucial issues, and takes decisions every two years.
