Both Sinchana and Anisha started their training in surfing at Balavana swimming pool where they  swim with Puttur Aquatic Club.  Surfer Dhruvin Das trained them at the pool and at Sea. From past one year both the girls train at Mantra surf club,  Mulki.

Surfing is a demanding sports and requires very high skill level and physical fitness. You are out there battling with the waves initially and later using the the strength and power of the waves to ride on it.  Surfing in India is picking up slowly. However it’s astonishing that girls from a small town like Puttur are at the forefront.  We hope people and government recognize this sport and support it.
